Description

The Crab Nebula is a supernova remnant and pulsar wind nebula in the constellation of Taurus.

Clear skies have been very rare in the UK in the last few months. This image was taken on one night between 7pm and midnight when we had a very small gap.

Because I haven't had much clear skies to collimate this scope well, and I recently put the camera back on it, the collimation is out a little. Thankfully BlurXterminator saved most of it, although the diffraction spikes aren't spot on.

Also the orientation of the subs was way off, so this is a pretty heavy crop with 2x drizzle. I didn't know what orientation I wanted it to be in when I first started imaging so I just left it!
